About the Job

The sales manager will be responsible for developing and driving sales opportunities by translating deep domain expertise and product knowledge into compelling positioning, competitive and selling strategies. The goal is to promote rapid adoption of MGI solutions resulting in increased sales success by providing segment and technical knowledge into sales opportunities. The sales manager will develop key sales opportunities and build a community of satisfied customers by working with district sales personnel, sales channel partners, and marketing in both pre- and post-sales activities.

The sales manager will facilitate the adoption of MGI technology across reproductive health, oncology, and infectious disease in genomics applications within the Indonesia Region. Additional travel outside of the region may be occasionally required.

Responsibilities:

  1. Providing professional solutions to customers based on technical skills in NGS field and achieving the sales target.
  2. Customer visiting, timely response to technical inquiries from customers, and providing professional technical consultation services.
  3. Providing products, technologies, and solutions training to distributors, cooperating with them to achieve sales targets.
  4. Monitoring the latest technologies and trends in the NGS field and developing relationships with KOLs for efficient product promotion.
  5. Participating in marketing activities and hosting technical seminars, providing product introductions/updates/technical seminars regularly to customers.
  6. Collecting market information and feedback, as well as competitors’ information, for strategy planning with the marketing and R&D departments.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree or above in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Immunology, Genetics, or Bioinformatics.
  2. Familiarity with Next Generation Sequencing, genomics, and genetics field and market, with knowledge of gene sequencers or application areas.
  3. At least 2 years of sales/technical support experience in genetics/genomics-related instruments, with a good sense of service.
  4. Excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork skills, willing to accept challenges and stress-tolerant.
  5. Highly self-motivated, strong willingness, and good ability to learn new technologies and skills, adaptable to frequent business trips.
  6. Established network of customer relationships preferred.
  7. Demonstrating superior problem-solving and interpersonal skills in a customer-facing environment.
  8. Clear vision of and commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Working Location:

Surabaya, responsible for East Java, Central Java, Bali, Yogyakarta Special Region, West Nusa Tenggara, and East Nusa Tenggara.
