About the job

The sales manager will be responsible for developing and driving sales opportunities by translating deep domain expertise and product knowledge into compelling positioning, competitive and selling strategies. The goal is to promote rapid adoption of MGI solutions resulting in increased sales success by providing segment and technical knowledge into sales opportunities. The sales manager will develop key sales opportunities and build a community of satisfied customers by working with district sales personnel, sales channel partners and marketing in both pre- and post-sales activities.

MGI next generation sequencers, long reads sequencers, automation machines, biobank and remote ultrasound system business in Indonesia Region to facilitate adoption of MGI technology across reproductive health, oncology and infectious disease in Genomics applications. Additional travel outside of the region may be occasionally required. Additional travel outside of the region may be occasionally required.

Responsibility:

-Providing professional solutions to the customers based on technical skills in NGS field and achieving the sales target.

-Customer visiting, in-time response to the technical enquiries from the customers, providing professional technical consultation services.

-Providing products, technologies and solutions training to the distributor, cooperating with the distributor to achieve the sales target.

-Monitoring the latest technologies and trends in NGS field. Developing and working closely with KOLs for efficient products promotion.

-Participating in marketing activities, hosting technical seminars. Providing products introduction/update/technical seminars regularly to the customers.

-Collecting market information and feedback, competitors’ information, to marketing and R&D department for strategy planning.

Requirement:

-Bachelor or above degree major in Molecular biology, cell biology, immunology, genetics or bioinformatics.

-Familiar with Next Generation Sequencing, genomics, genetics field and market, be familiar with gene sequencers or application areas.

-At least 2 years sales/technical support experience in genetics/genomics related instrument, good sense of services.

-Excellent in communication, coordination, and teamwork, willing to accept challenges and stress tolerant.

-Highly self-motivated, strong willing and good ability to learn new technologies and skills, be adapted to frequent business trips.

-Network of established customer relationships preferred.

-Demonstrating superior problem-solving and interpersonal skills in a customer-facing environment.

-Clear vision of and commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Working Location:

Surabaya

Surabaya: Responsible for East Java, Central Java, Bali, Yogyakarta Special Region, West Nusa Tenggara and East Nusa Tenggara.
