Job description

Job Responsibilities:
  • Preparing and verifying import documentation such as invoices, packing lists, BL (Bill of Lading) and others
  • Communicating and collaborating with forwarder regarding PIB issuance
  • Follow SOP in the performance of all shipment operation processes
  • Perform customs clearance for imports
  • Coordinates with overseas office, shipping line/airline, trucking, field ops, forwarder, surveyor and other related parties for timely manner shipment
  • Final costing creation and process invoices to finance
  • Ensure that the business always complies with importation laws and regulations
  • Process all the related manners for shipment unloading from the port/airport to warehouse
  • On-site container checking when the shipment has arrived at warehouse
Requirements:
  • Having work experience as Import, Procurement or Supply Chain Specialist for at least 1 year
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, or related field
  • Understanding of customs compliance and regulations
  • Understanding of logistics documents, process and flow
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities required
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent work standards, planning/organization and follow-up skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good command of English both writing and speaking is a must
