Import Assistant Manager - Freight Forwarding (C-112529)

• Our client is a Japanese Freight Forwarding company. They are looking for Import Assistant Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee overall import activities and the PPJK process for compliance.
• Plan and schedule import activities.
• Assist client inquiries and troubleshoot any issues.
• Monitor team KPIs to assess performance and drive improvement.
• Provide guidance and support to team members.
• Review daily operations through reports from Supervisors.
• Focus on managerial tasks, reporting, and strategic improvements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Transport Management, preferably in Sea Transport or a related field.
• High conversational proficiency in English.
• At least 10 years of experience handling Imports in the Freight Forwarding industry, with 3 years in a Supervisory or Assistant Manager role, overseeing more than 10 subordinates.
• Strong management experience; firm and concise communication skills.
