VP of Data Science and Performance Marketing Operations

Responsibilities:

  1. Leads IBM's data science, media, and marketing automation engine.
  2. Responsible for mission-critical functions including marketing technology, data, and advanced analytics integrated into a global team partnering with demand and client experience teams to fuel growth.
  3. Requires a balance between the art and science of marketing, fostering a culture of curiosity and experimentation.
  4. Involves leveraging data, intelligent workflow automation, and artificial intelligence/machine learning at the core of operations.

Overview of the Role Includes:

  1. Media budget ($200mm+): Buying excellence (internal & external), agency relationships.
  2. Automation / CRM: Progression of demand / LTV through martech and automation.
  3. Data & Analytics: Performance insights to improve marketing ROI / growth impact.
  4. Growth dashboards: Dashboards and performance tracking for growth / progression.
  5. Team leadership: Overseeing 200+ performance marketers, media experts, martech automation leaders, and data scientists.
