Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic Hygiene Manager to join our team at Alila Solo, a Hyatt-managed luxury hotel known for its elevated guest experiences and culinary excellence. As a key member of the Food & Beverage team, the Hygiene Manager plays a crucial role in upholding Hyatt’s high standards of food safety, sanitation, and operational hygiene.

This position ensures full compliance with HACCP, ISO 22000, and other hygiene protocols, leading a culture of cleanliness, prevention, and continuous improvement across all culinary operations.

Minimum Requirements:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in food technology, Environmental Health, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in food safety, hygiene management, or quality assurance in the hospitality or foodservice industry.
  3. In-depth knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, and food safety audit practices.
  4. Certification in HACCP, ISO 22000, or related food safety systems is strongly preferred.
  5. Experience in leading audits, managing corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement in hygiene and sanitation.
  6. Proven ability to train and supervise teams, with strong leadership and communication skills.
  7. Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and verbal.
  8. Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to generate hygiene reports and presentations.
  9. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural and dynamic environment.
  10. High attention to detail, with a proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented approach.
  11. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
