Who We Look For

Four Seasons Resorts Bali is looking for a Hygiene Manager.

The Hygiene Manager plans, directs, implements and manages the Food Safety & Hygiene management system for Four Seasons Resorts Bali.

Responsibilities

The Hygiene Manager is responsible for routing food safety and hygiene issues and concerns, interacting directly with all levels of employees and outside connections regarding those issues. Outside connections referring to external audits, local authorities, guests with alleged incidents.

Job Descriptions

  • Lead, train and maintain the highest hygiene standards.
  • Conduct regular audits with relevant documentations.
  • Work actively with all departments to ensure safe & sound standards are maintained in collaboration with preventive maintenance.
  • Manage the pest control system & assist with the garbage maintenance within the resorts.
  • Abiding to a clean and safe working environment for all colleagues and guests.
  • Be a role model in terms of keeping all team members informed on all hygiene related aspects.
  • Working closely with People & Culture to maintain a hygiene culture awareness that is cascaded throughout the resorts as well as personal hygiene standards and habits to be maintained.
  • Effectively creating and maintaining a system of team members informing once unwell.
  • Work with laboratories for regular sample testing.
  • Be able to assist with onsite supplier audits at their premises should and when it is required.
  • Constant monitoring of all world health risks and communicate a strategic plan to minimize such risks – whenever and wherever applicable.
  • Respond properly in any resort emergency or safety situation.
  • Actively participates in all food borne illness allegations/complaints, conducting due diligence and investigation, documentations on investigations on the series of events, traceability, lab test and follow up actions.
  • Food borne illness documents are filed and kept for audit purposed.
  • Ensure Food borne illness Policy and Procedure is kept relevant and all relevant department managers are trained in case of an allegation.
  • Samples of food for events over a 100 people are kept for 10 days.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Depth of experience in Food Safety & Hygiene management system.
  • College Education or equivalent.
  • Hygiene Certification / HACCP Certification.
  • Food Safety Administration Certificate.
  • Other relevant certification will be an advantage.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the same position.
  • Required to travel between the resorts.
