Job summary

Evonik Corporation in Indonesia is seeking a Process Engineer to join our chemical plant operations. You will lead troubleshooting and optimization efforts, support expatriate processing activities, and collect data for performance evaluation.

The role requires 5+ years in chemical plants, strong process and mechanical engineering knowledge, and proficiency in English and Bahasa. You will help ensure product quality and process efficiency on site.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering.
Minimum 5 years' working experience in chemical plants.
Strong in process and mechanical engineering background.
Good communication skills with fluent/good English and Bahasa.
Familiar with plant operation and project execution.
Knowledge of drawing software such as AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

Ensure troubleshooting and optimization of production processes and support to production and project teams.
Support expatriate process in process optimization, troubleshooting, data monitoring, etc.
Perform experiments and process calculations, collect plant and lab data for evaluation.
Review and update plant documentation drawings regularly.
Coordinate optimization of process parameters, SOPs and batch programs to ensure quality and capacity.
Support equipment and instrument selection with other disciplines and AOPE.
Assist with equipment acceptance tests, construction and installation.
Prepare for project reviews and QA documents.
Support plant and project start-up.
Comply with IP protection and code of conduct.
Assist in various projects or functions as directed by supervisors.
