Job summary

Aon in Jakarta, Indonesia is seeking an Assistant Vice President to lead the Construction, Power & Infrastructure (CPI) team in a hybrid role, blending client servicing, broking, and business development. You will coordinate with clients, insurers and lenders on insurance matters and contribute to revenue tracking.

The role requires 7–10 years in insurance broking or risk advisory, relevant OJK licensure, and fluent English. Hybrid work arrangement in Jakarta with local and global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in insurance broking, underwriting, placement or risk advisory, preferably within Energy, Mining, Construction, Power or Infrastructure.
• Holds the relevant insurance broking certifications and licences required by OJK and applicable Indonesian regulations.
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Client Servicing & Broking: Manage day-to-day servicing of CPI clients, renewals, endorsements, quotations and documentation; liaise with clients, insurers and lenders.
• Placement & Business Development: Develop solutions for renewals and new business, support tenders, renewals and client proposals; contribute to pipeline.
• Financial & Administration: Prepare invoices, monitor collections, manage credit control, support forecasting and revenue tracking.
• Compliance & Operational Excellence: Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements; maintain client documentation and reporting.
