Job summary

BimBuildings/ScanPlan in Zwolle, NL, is looking for a data science intern with a passion for 3D data, computer vision and LiDAR. You’ll train and evaluate AI models for semantic segmentation and help turn scans into BIM geometries.

You’ll learn through hands-on projects, training courses, and collaboration with a friendly team in a hybrid work setup, with breakfast and lunch at the office, and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in AI/CS/Math/Stats or related field.
• Experience with Python; C++ is a plus.
• Experience with PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Familiar with LiDAR AI models and benchmark datasets.
• Familiar with Linux, Docker, and cloud processing (Azure, AWS).
• EU citizen or valid work permit in The Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Train and test AI models for semantic segmentation on 3D data.
• Analyze and visualize model outputs for meaningful insights.
• Document progress to share improvements with the team.
• Assist in developing scan-to-geometry workflows.
