Job summary

Daikin Group in Jakarta is seeking an HVAC Engineer with 2–4 years of experience to join our project teams. You will collaborate with engineers to develop and optimize HVAC components, conduct cooling load analyses, and oversee project implementation in the field.

You will coordinate schedules, meetings with subcontractors, owners, and management teams, and work closely with sales engineers, dealers, and customers to prepare for startups of Chillers, AHUs, and FCUs.

Qualifications

• Diploma in HVAC, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 2–4 years of HVAC engineering experience.
• Solid understanding of HVAC components including Chillers, AHUs, FCUs.

Responsibilities

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers to develop and optimize HVAC system components, such as Chillers, AHUs, Heat Exchangers, Pumps, and Fans, focusing on flow, thermal performance, noise reduction, and cost-efficiency.
• Cooling Load Analysis: Perform Cooling Load analysis of HVAC systems to identify potential drawbacks and implement improvements.
• Project Implementation: Oversee the implementation of HVAC projects, ensuring all tasks are executed according to plan.
• Project Scheduling: Develop project schedules, set milestones, and monitor the progress of each task to ensure timely completion.
• Meeting Coordination: Attend and coordinate project-related meetings with DASI’s subcontractors, the owner’s main contractor, and construction management teams.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales Engineer team, dealers, subcontractors, and customers to prepare for the startup of Chillers, AHUs, and FCUs.

Requirements:

• Education: Minimum Diploma in HVAC, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience:2-4 years of experience as an HVAC Engineer.
• Technical Skills:
  • Comprehensive understanding of HVAC systems, including Chillers, AHUs, and FCUs.
  • Proficiency in CAD software.
• Communication Skills:Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Language Proficiency:Good command of English.
• Product Knowledge:Familiarity with our (Daikin) products and the HVAC industry is a plus.
• Additional Requirements:
  • Possession of a valid SIM A driving license (preferred).
  • Willingness to be based in Pancoran, South Jakarta.
