Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is recruiting for a Facility Engineer (HV Electrical) to maintain high and low voltage electrical infrastructure in a mission-critical data centre environment. You will ensure safe operation, continuity, and regulatory compliance across power systems from utility intake to rack-level distribution.

The role requires hands-on HV switching, asset reliability improvements, strong CMMS expertise, and leadership of technicians and contractors to meet uptime goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain critical electrical infrastructure including HV/MV switchgear, transformers, LV switchboards, generators, UPS systems, battery systems, ATS/STS equipment, PDUs, and earthing and lightning protection systems.
• Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) to ensure assets remain reliable and operational.
• Act as or support HV Authorised Person; carry out HV isolation, switching, and restoration per procedures.
• Coordinate protection relay testing, thermographic inspections, load monitoring, and power quality assessments.
• Review, prioritize, and close maintenance work orders in CMMS; ensure documentation accuracy and compliance.
• Troubleshoot electrical equipment issues and perform root cause analysis to resolve failures.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions to improve asset reliability and reduce incidents.
• Monitor electrical system performance and capacity utilization to support reliability and growth.
• Supervise Facilities Technicians; provide technical guidance and coaching.
• Coordinate and oversee vendors/contractors to ensure safe, quality work.
• Review method statements, switching programmes, risk assessments, and service documentation prior to maintenance.
• Prepare and execute MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs.
• Support change management, maintenance windows, black-start testing, and emergency exercises.
• Assist with spare parts management, lifecycle planning, capacity planning, and capital projects.
• Contribute to monthly reports, KPI reviews, incident investigations, and client meetings.
• Support audits by maintaining maintenance records and closing audit findings timely.
• Maintain compliance with electrical regulations (SLO, PUIL, K3 Listrik) and HSEQ requirements.
