We are seeking a people-focused and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead all HR functions in our carrageenan manufacturing company. This is a high-impact role responsible for shaping workplace culture, ensuring compliance, managing talent, and supporting organizational growth. As the HR Manager, you will oversee the full spectrum of human resources functions—from recruitment and employee relations to policy development, performance management, and compliance. You will act as a strategic partner to the leadership team, supporting business objectives through strong HR practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts for production, technical, and support staff.
Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs aligned with company goals.
Oversee performance management systems, including goal setting, appraisals, and employee development plans.
Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures in compliance with labor laws.
Ensure compliance with government labor regulations (DOLE, SSS, PAG-IBIG, PhilHealth) and company standards.
Manage training and development initiatives to upskill employees and support career growth.
Develop compensation and benefits strategies that attract and retain top talent.
Promote employee engagement, wellness, and positive workplace culture.
Maintain and safeguard HR records, contracts, and confidential personnel information.
Provide support and guidance to department heads on HR-related matters and organizational structure.
Participate in audits and ensure readiness for ISO, GMP, and labor inspections.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Experience in the manufacturing or food industry is a strong advantage.
Solid understanding of Philippine labor laws, HR compliance, and employee relations.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to lead change, foster collaboration, and influence leadership decisions.
Proficiency in HRIS or HR software systems and Microsoft Office tools.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and planning abilities.
Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability.
