HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to join our dynamic team at our private retreat. As the Human Resources Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving our HR strategy, ensuring we attract, develop and retain top talent to support the growth and success of our organisation. This full-time position is based in the beautiful location of Nusa Penida, Bali.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR policies, procedures and programs to support the overall business objectives
  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, on-boarding, performance management, learning and development, and employee relations
  • Lead the HR team, providing coaching, mentoring and support to ensure efficient and effective HR service delivery
  • Analyse HR data and metrics to identify trends, inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement
  • Partner with senior leaders to align HR strategy with the business strategy
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws, regulations and best practices
  • Foster a positive, inclusive and engaged company culture that aligns with our core values

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, preferably in a fast-paced, growth-oriented hospitality industry
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful HR strategies and initiatives
  • Excellent people management skills with the ability to train, lead, motivate and develop high-performing teams
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to align HR priorities with business objectives
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in a range of HR disciplines, including talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development, and employee relations
  • Knowledge of Indonesian employment laws and regulations
  • Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and spoken
  • Must be willing to work 5 days a week on the island
