Job description

Human Resource Manager (Indonesia-Jakarta)

The Human Resource Supervisor will oversee HR functions across outlets and back

office operations in Indonesia. This role requires a strong grasp of local employment

laws and practices, with a focus on recruitment, administration, payroll, and employee

relations. The ideal candidate will support a productive, compliant, and engaged

workforce aligned with company values and growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for both outlet and back office roles, including

job advertisement, candidate screening, interview arrangement, selection, and

integrated into operational workflows and company culture.

• Coordinate closely with operational heads to anticipate staffing needs and

execute timely hiring plans.

2. Employee Administration

• Oversee HR documentation including drafting employment agreements in

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records such as attendance, leave

applications, shift schedules, and outlet staffing charts.

• Ensure compliance with local regulations related to employment contracts,

probation, and termination procedures.

• Assist with timely and accurate payroll processing for all Indonesia-based

employees, including salary, overtime (lembur), allowances, and performance

based incentives.

• Administer statutory contributions and benefits, including BPJS Kesehatan, BPJS

alignment with government requirements.

4. Employee Relations

• Serve as the liaison between outlet staff and management for resolving

employee concerns, grievances, and misconduct issues in a timely and fair

manner.

• Support disciplinary actions in accordance with company SOP and Indonesian

labor laws (e.g. warning letters, termination protocols).

• Promote a positive and inclusive work culture through consistent

communication and follow-through.

5. Employee Engagement & Welfare

• Plan and coordinate employee engagement initiatives such as appreciation

events, team bonding activities, and employee recognition programs.

• Work with outlet leaders and HQ teams to propose and implement HR initiatives

tailored to the needs of Indonesia-based employees.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration,

Psychology, or a related field.

• At least 3 years of HR generalist experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally

in the F&B, retail, or hospitality industry in Indonesia.

• Practical knowledge of Indonesian employment laws and HR practices,

especially in relation to BPJS, THR, PKWT/PKWTT, and labor compliance.

• Experience in recruitment, HR operations, payroll, and employee relations,

particularly with outlet/frontline teams.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with fluency in Bahasa

Indonesia; Mandarin and English proficiency is a plus.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with

HRIS platforms is an advantage.
