Role Overview

This role combines human resources management with training and development leadership. The HR & Training Manager will oversee end-to-end HR functions while also designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that enhance employees’ skills and organizational performance. The position requires strong Mandarin communication skills and proven leadership experience in people management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and update high-quality training materials tailored to business needs and industry trends.
  • Deliver engaging training sessions (workshops, case studies, role plays, and digital modules).
  • Measure training effectiveness and implement improvements to maximize impact.
  • Lead and mentor a team of trainers to ensure quality delivery.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to align training with organizational goals.
  • Manage HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement.
  • Develop HR policies and ensure compliance with labor regulations.
  • Partner with management to drive organizational culture, talent development, and succession planning.
  • Act as a bridge between employees and leadership to ensure a positive working environment.
Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in HR and/or Training & Development functions.
  • At least 3 years in a managerial role, overseeing teams or leading projects.
  • Proven track record in both HR operations (recruitment, performance management, employee relations) and training leadership (designing and delivering programs).
  • Fluent in Mandarin (must), with strong verbal and written communication skills - proficiency in English for business communication.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and compliance in Indonesia.
  • Proficiency in developing training frameworks, tools, and materials.
  • Based in Jakarta, with flexibility for business travel to branches or client sites as required.
  • Willing to work beyond standard hours when projects demand.
