A leading educational services provider in Jakarta seeks an HR Supervisor to shape HR strategy. The role involves overseeing the employee lifecycle and ensuring compliance with labor laws, while supporting organizational development and employee engagement. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in HR and at least 5 years in HR roles.
About the role
We're seeking a talented HR Supervisor to join our team at PT Nuansa Edukasi Indonesia, a leading provider of educational services in West Jakarta, Jakarta. In this full-time role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the HR strategy and driving employee engagement within our fast-paced, dynamic organisation.
What you'll be doing
Overseeing the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and off-boarding
Developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and support business objectives
Lead full HR operations for both expatriate and local staff, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding
Manage and coordinate work permit (RPTKA), KITAS, IMTA, and other immigration processes for foreign hires in accordance with Indonesian labor and immigration law
Liaise with relevant parties to ensure compliance in all expatriate employment matters
Experience in developing performance management system
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with local legal standards and global best practices
Support employee engagement, retention strategies, and organizational development for a diverse team
Provide expert guidance to leadership on HR issues, labor law compliance, and contract structuring
Maintain and manage employee records, contracts, compensation structures, and benefits administration
Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance culture across departments
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law, Business, or related field (Master’s or HR certifications are a plus)
Min. 5 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a multicultural or international education setting
Strong knowledge of Indonesian labor regulations and expatriate employment procedures (e.g., RPTKA, KITAS, IMTA, reporting requirements)
Experience working with international staff and navigating cross-cultural workplace dynamics
Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven personality
