Job description

As the HR Service Manager, you will partner with the HRBP Manager to identify potential areas of improvement within HR, covering end-to-end HR functions such as onboarding, talent management, compensation & benefits, employee engagement, and industrial relations. Additionally, you will lead and supervise workplace services, including office facilities, transportation, and accommodation.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

  1. HR Services:
  • Manage and participate in various HR practice areas such as employee orientation, compensation & benefits, performance management, people mobility, and termination.
  • Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners Manager and HR Service teams to assess and anticipate HR needs, developing programs and solutions. Maintain awareness of organizational culture, plans, and market competition.
  • Evaluate employee programs, recommend improvements to employee relations policies to ensure compliance with internal policies and legal requirements.
  • Manage the HR team to provide operational support, including payroll administration, employee records, mobility, and immigration matters.
  • Handle staffing issues, mediate disputes, and oversee disciplinary procedures.
  • Ensure company compensation and benefits are aligned with market standards and organizational responsibilities.
  • Support other HR areas and assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.
  • Medical Occupational Health:
    • Manage and oversee the Ministry of Health programs, such as health check-ups and employee well-being initiatives.
    • Handle employee medical claims and related policies.
  • Workplace Services:
    • Manage and supervise workplace services and facilities.
    • Coordinate with third-party providers for workplace services and facilities.
    • Oversee employee accommodation and transportation management.

    Qualifications & Competencies:

    • Bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree.
    • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
    • Proven experience in managing end-to-end HR functions (People Operations and General Affairs) at a managerial level.
    • Minimum of 8-10 years of solid HR experience in the manufacturing industry.
    • Strong knowledge of HR concepts, processes, and tools.
    • Excellent people management and leadership skills.
    • High integrity with an open, collaborative communication style.
