Job Description – HR Generalist & Finance Staff
Location: Jakarta
Employment Type: Hybrid
Responsibilities
HR:
- Maintain employee records (contracts, personal files, attendance, leave management).
- Familiar with onboarding process (including preparing the employment contract, meeting with the new hire, handling the documents).
- Maintain payroll preparation by collecting and verifying data (attendance, overtime, deductions).
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment contracts, and company policies.
- Handle employee relations matters professionally, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Prepare HR-related reports for management.
Finance & Administration:
- Process day-to-day financial transactions (invoices, payments, petty cash, reimbursements).
- Assist in monthly financial closing and reconciliation of accounts.
- Prepare financial reports (cash flow, expense reports, AR/AP tracking).
- Support tax reporting and compliance (VAT, income tax, withholding tax).
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and banks as required.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial and legal documents.
- Assist in budget monitoring and cost control for projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Human Resources (or related field).
- 2–4 years of experience in HR and/or finance roles, preferably in service/consulting companies.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, payroll, and Indonesian labor regulations.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of accounting and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with HRIS/Accounting software is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).
- High integrity, confidentiality, and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
