Job summary

A leading consulting firm in Jakarta is seeking an HR Generalist & Finance Staff to manage employee records and financial transactions. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree with 2–4 years of experience and strong knowledge of HR practices and Indonesian labor regulations. Qualifications

Overview

Job Description – HR Generalist & Finance Staff

Location: Jakarta

Employment Type: Hybrid

Responsibilities

HR:

  • Maintain employee records (contracts, personal files, attendance, leave management).
  • Familiar with onboarding process (including preparing the employment contract, meeting with the new hire, handling the documents).
  • Maintain payroll preparation by collecting and verifying data (attendance, overtime, deductions).
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment contracts, and company policies.
  • Handle employee relations matters professionally, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Prepare HR-related reports for management.

Finance & Administration:

  • Process day-to-day financial transactions (invoices, payments, petty cash, reimbursements).
  • Assist in monthly financial closing and reconciliation of accounts.
  • Prepare financial reports (cash flow, expense reports, AR/AP tracking).
  • Support tax reporting and compliance (VAT, income tax, withholding tax).
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and banks as required.
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial and legal documents.
  • Assist in budget monitoring and cost control for projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Human Resources (or related field).
  • 2–4 years of experience in HR and/or finance roles, preferably in service/consulting companies.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, payroll, and Indonesian labor regulations.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of accounting and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with HRIS/Accounting software is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).
  • High integrity, confidentiality, and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
