Job description

Currently, we are looking for the position of HR Generalist. In general, you will perform professional level human resources work and carry out responsibilities in one or more of the functional areas, such as staffing, employee relations, benefits, training, employment, and safety.   • Coordinates new hire process for managing staff including orientation and new hire paperwork
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from employees and escalate to Human Resources Manager as needed
  • Ability to answer employee questions and or concerns regarding Human Resource policy, procedures, or employee handbook interpretations
  • Assists Business Unit Managers and/or Supervisors with employee inquiries, performance review process, coaching, counseling, and terminations
  • Ensures HRIS is being maintained and used accordingly
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition team for recruiting, interviewing, and screening employee candidates during peak seasons
  • Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Operate ethically to protect the assets and image of the company
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as per business need

Requirements and specifications

In order to carry out the obligations well, we need someone who has specific knowledge and abilities in a specific area. To make it easier, there are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of Human Resources experience, startup/ed-tech industry preferred
  • Experience with HRIS
  • Good communications in English
  • Collaborative work style and ability to work effectively across departments
  • Results oriented with ability to effectively manage projects and tight deadlines
  • Understands the needs of timely recruitment strategies
  • Service oriented, collaborative approach has exceptional follow up and organization skills
  • Must possess excellent oral, written, presentation and listing skills
  • Proficient in using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Must be able to maintain a schedule availability flexible to the business demands
  • Ability to work in an ever-changing environment
