Job description

PT. Wisewires Software Indonesia, Wecruit Partner, is seeking a capable and proactive HR/GA Manager to support the launch and daily operation of their newly established Surabaya branch office, under the guidance of Headquarters in South Korea. This role combines responsibilities in Human Resources, General Affairs, and basic bookkeeping, and requires strong cross-cultural communication skills, especially in Korean. The ideal candidate is independent, detail-oriented, and experienced in both HR operations and office administration within a multinational or start-up environment.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources (HR):

Develop and implement HR systems and policies compliant with Indonesian labor law and aligned with HQ standards.

Lead local recruitment, onboarding, and personnel management.

Administer payroll, BPJS, tax, and benefits.

Manage performance evaluation processes and employee development plans.

Maintain HR documentation and generate regular reports for both local and HQ use.

Ensure compliance with government regulations and company policies.

Oversee general office administration, including office setup, equipment, vendor relations, and maintenance.

Manage office contracts (lease, utilities, cleaning services).

Arrange domestic and international business trips, including visa and accommodation support.

Ensure a clean, safe, and productive office environment.

Serve as the local point of contact for external agencies and suppliers.

Handle daily bookkeeping tasks: record expenses, manage petty cash, and track payments.

if needed, coordinate with external accounting/tax consultants for financial reporting.

Submit monthly financial summaries and expense reports to HQ.

Ensure accuracy and transparency of all financial records and receipts.

HQ Communication & Korean Language Use:

Regularly report and coordinate with South Korea HQ on HR/GA/Finance issues.

Translate and localize HQ policies and documentation.

Prepare internal documents and reports in English and/or Korean as required.

Actively use Korean in work communications—both spoken and written.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field.

5–8 years of experience in HR/GA, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.

Familiar with Indonesian labor law, HR best practices, and office operations.

Experience with basic bookkeeping and financial reporting.

Korean language proficiency is essential:

Minimum: Able to communicate in Korean in business context.

Preferred: TOPIK Level 3 or higher.

Proficient in English (spoken and written).

Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

People who can quickly recognize problems and come up with solutions in complex and challenging situations

Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, small-office setting.

Recruitment Process

There is a 3-month probationary contract period after recruitment is confirmed, and 100% of the salary will be paid during this period.
