Job Description

As an HR Compensation & Benefit specialist, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing competitive compensation plans.
  • Ensuring that benefits programs support the company's overall strategic objectives.
  • Assessing the company's benefits needs and recommending benefits programs to management.
  • Managing and overseeing employee benefits programs such as retirement plans, leave policies, wellness programs, and insurance policies.
  • Ensuring compliance with all government regulations in relation to compensation and benefits.
  • Preparing budgetary recommendations and assisting in budget management for the HR department.
  • Coordinating and managing the work of staff under the compensation and benefits area.
  • Keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices in relation to compensation and benefits.

The Successful Applicant

A successful HR Compensation & Benefit specialist should have:

  • An undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in various HR software systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of job evaluation and job analysis systems.
  • Understanding of various types of compensation and benefits.
  • Attention to detail and good negotiation skills.
