Job Title: HR & Administration Supervisor - Indonesia
Job Overview
This role is responsible for the comprehensive management of human resources and administrative operations at our Indonesian branch. The incumbent will ensure all HR activities—from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations—are executed efficiently, in compliance with local regulations, and in close alignment with the company’s business strategy and localization efforts. Strong English communication skills are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Recruitment Management: Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment plans based on business strategy to fill vacancies efficiently. Explore and manage diversified recruitment channels, including local Indonesian job platforms and resources within Chinese communities and business associations. Lead the entire process of resume screening, interview coordination, and candidate assessment to ensure selected talent meets role requirements and all procedures adhere to Indonesian employment regulations.
- Employee Records & Compliance: Maintain complete, accurate, and confidential employee records—including contracts, onboarding, and offboarding documentation—in compliance with Indonesian Labor Law and company policies. Ensure termination and offboarding processes are fully compliant, properly managing exit interviews, documentation, and handover procedures.
- HR Operations & Payroll Benefits: Oversee monthly payroll processing and benefits administration (e.g., BPJS Health Insurance and Retirement Plans), ensuring timely and accurate disbursement in full compliance with regulations. Monitor organizational headcount to ensure alignment with approved manpower budgets and business plans. Act as the primary liaison with local regulatory bodies (e.g., BPJS, Disnaker) to ensure full compliance with all labor regulations.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and team activities, and impartially handle employee conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary procedures.
- General Administrative Support: Assist in the preparation of the annual HR budget and manpower planning to support business decision-making. Perform other HR and administrative tasks as assigned by the CEO and senior management.
Essential Qualifications
- Education: Undergraduate degree required; a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of comprehensive HR experience, including 1-2 years of hands-on full-cycle recruitment; familiarity with employee relations and payroll/benefits management is preferred.
- Language: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Indonesian and English; basic Mandarin communication skills are required to interact effectively with local employees, the Chinese community, and expatriate/Chinese management.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (able to independently generate reports and perform data analysis); experience with HRIS or payroll systems is preferred.
- Professional Knowledge: Thorough understanding of Indonesian labor law, BPJS policies, and HR compliance practices; strong organizational, coordination, and project management skills.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills; ability to handle sensitive issues and emergencies with composure and professionalism.
