To lead and coordinate the housekeeping team in maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and harmony of House of Om's facilities, ensuring a serene and welcoming environment for all guests, residents, and staff.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise the daily housekeeping schedule including rooms, shared bathrooms, shalas, common areas, and back-of-house.
- Ensure all areas are cleaned according to House of Om’s standards of hygiene and energy.
- Perform regular room and area inspections to maintain high levels of cleanliness, organization, and aesthetic.
- Identify and report maintenance or repair needs.
- Assign duties to housekeeping staff and monitor their performance.
- Train and guide new team members with House of Om values: mindfulness, respect, and teamwork.
- Foster a positive, calm, and supportive working environment.
- Track usage of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities.
- Coordinate timely restocking and maintain proper storage procedures.
- Respond promptly and kindly to guest housekeeping requests or concerns.
- Work closely with the reception and event team to ensure guest rooms are prepared according to booking needs.
- Maintain shift logs and task completion reports.
- Communicate regularly with the HRGA and operations team regarding housekeeping needs and improvements.
Requirements :
- Minimum 2 years experience in Housekeeping Leader, ideally in a retreat center, hotel, or villa.
- Ability to lead with calmness and clarity.
- High attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Familiar with eco-friendly and mindful housekeeping practices is a plus.
- Basic English communication skills.
