Job description

To lead and coordinate the housekeeping team in maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and harmony of House of Om's facilities, ensuring a serene and welcoming environment for all guests, residents, and staff.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Supervise the daily housekeeping schedule including rooms, shared bathrooms, shalas, common areas, and back-of-house.
  • Ensure all areas are cleaned according to House of Om’s standards of hygiene and energy.
  • Perform regular room and area inspections to maintain high levels of cleanliness, organization, and aesthetic.
  • Identify and report maintenance or repair needs.
  • Assign duties to housekeeping staff and monitor their performance.
  • Train and guide new team members with House of Om values: mindfulness, respect, and teamwork.
  • Foster a positive, calm, and supportive working environment.
  • Track usage of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities.
  • Coordinate timely restocking and maintain proper storage procedures.
  • Respond promptly and kindly to guest housekeeping requests or concerns.
  • Work closely with the reception and event team to ensure guest rooms are prepared according to booking needs.
  • Maintain shift logs and task completion reports.
  • Communicate regularly with the HRGA and operations team regarding housekeeping needs and improvements.

Requirements :

  • Minimum 2 years experience in Housekeeping Leader, ideally in a retreat center, hotel, or villa.
  • Ability to lead with calmness and clarity.
  • High attention to detail and cleanliness.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
  • Familiar with eco-friendly and mindful housekeeping practices is a plus.
  • Basic English communication skills.
