A boutique hotel in the heart of Jakarta is seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to oversee daily operations and enhance guest experiences. This role encompasses strategic leadership in revenue management, marketing, and team development, aimed at driving occupancy and delivering exceptional service. As the Hotel Manager, you will be fully responsible for the daily operations and commercial performance of this boutique hotel. You will oversee all departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B coordination), manage dynamic pricing and revenue strategies, lead marketing initiatives, and ensure excellent guest experiences. Your goal is to grow occupancy, maximize direct bookings, optimize revenue, and maintain operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Hotel Operations
• Supervise daily hotel activities across Front Office, Housekeeping, and Maintenance
• Ensure smooth check-in/check-out processes and high guest satisfaction
• Implement SOPs and quality standards for cleanliness, service, and safety
• Handle guest complaints and resolve operational issues proactively
Revenue Management
• Monitor and adjust room pricing dynamically across OTAs and direct channels
• Analyze occupancy trends, booking windows, and RevPAR to drive revenue
• Optimize rate structures, packages, and promotions to maximize yield
Sales & Marketing
• Plan and execute digital and offline marketing campaigns to drive bookings
• Create sales programs for F&B offerings and meeting room rentals
• Manage hotel listings on OTAs, Google, and social media
• Build partnerships with local businesses, event organizers, and influencers
Direct Booking & CRM
• Increase direct bookings through website, WhatsApp, email, and social media
• Implement CRM strategies to drive repeat bookings and guest loyalty
• Monitor customer reviews (e.g. Google, TripAdvisor) and improve ratings
Team Leadership
• Lead, motivate, and train staff across departments
• Manage schedules, performance reviews, and staffing levels
• Ensure a collaborative and positive work culture
Finance & Reporting
• Monitor expenses, supplier costs, and budget control
• Provide weekly and monthly performance reports to the Owner
• Oversee petty cash, purchasing, and inventory
Key KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
• Occupancy rate & RevPAR growth
• Direct booking ratio vs OTA
• Guest satisfaction score (Google, OTA, in-house surveys)
• Meeting room & F&B revenue
• Cost control vs budget
• Staff performance & retention
Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of hotel or hospitality experience in a management role
• Strong knowledge of OTA platforms, revenue management tools, and CRM
• Proven leadership, problem-solving, and team coordination skills
• Excellent communication in English and [local language]
• Tech-savvy: Familiar with PMS systems, Google tools, and social media
