Role Description

The Host Live role is a full-time, on-site position based in Jakarta, Indonesia. This role is responsible for hosting live streaming sessions to promote gadgets, IoT products, and related offerings, while engaging viewers in a professional and interactive manner. Day-to-day tasks include presenting products clearly and persuasively, answering audience questions in real time, and demonstrating product features to drive interest and sales. The Host Live collaborates with the marketing and sales teams to plan content, align messaging with campaigns, and review performance metrics to improve future sessions. Additional responsibilities include preparing scripts or talking points, maintaining a consistent brand image, and supporting customer inquiries and feedback received during and after live broadcasts.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and respond clearly to questions during live sessions.
• Sales and Training abilities to present products effectively, influence purchasing decisions, and guide viewers through product features and benefits.
• Basic understanding of Food & Beverage service is beneficial for sessions that feature lifestyle or cross‑promotional content.
• Comfort with live streaming platforms, social media tools, and basic digital content creation.
• Interest in gadgets, smartphones, and IoT products, with the willingness to learn product details quickly.
• Ability to work on‑site in Jakarta, Indonesia, with flexible hours aligned to live streaming schedules.
• Prior experience in hosting, retail, broadcasting, or online content presentation is an advantage.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; further education in communications, marketing, or related fields is a plus.
