Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in Health Information Management functions.
• 1+ years experience in chart analysis (preferred).
• Educational background includes high school diploma or equivalent with medical terminology training (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Maintain both paper and electronic health records with accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform chart analysis, scanning, release of information, physician communication, and data management.
• Serve as a resource in HIM systems and workflows and provide leadership where needed.
• Support HIPAA privacy standards and regulatory requirements in daily tasks.
• Collaborate with physicians and department staff to ensure timely record completion.
