Job summary

PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk is seeking a Henhouse Operator to oversee daily operations at the PS Mattiro Bulu facility. You will monitor environmental conditions, ensure animal welfare, and support production targets in a hands-on role.

The position requires physical work, attention to biosecurity, and the ability to work independently as part of a team. Experience in poultry farming is preferred and weekends/holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent.
• Previous experience in poultry farming or animal husbandry preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily checks of henhouse facilities, including ventilation systems, feeding equipment, watering systems, and lighting.
• Monitor poultry health and behavior, identifying and reporting any signs of illness or stress to supervisors.
• Execute feeding schedules and ensure proper feed distribution and water availability.
• Clean and disinfect henhouse areas according to established biosecurity protocols.
• Collect and handle eggs, ensuring proper storage and quality control.
• Assist with poultry catching, weighing, and transfer operations as required.
• Maintain accurate records of henhouse activities, including feed consumption, mortality rates, and egg production.
• Operate and maintain basic henhouse machinery and equipment.
• Adhere to all company safety regulations and animal welfare guidelines.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or facility issues promptly.
