Location: Cikarang, Indonesia

Description
As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for leading and executing the commercial strategy for the factory garment segment within the packaging and labeling division. You will manage a national sales team, drive P&L accountability, shape long-term growth, and strengthen key customer partnerships. This is a senior leadership role suited for a strategic thinker with a strong technical understanding and proven commercial acumen.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales Leadership & Strategy
    Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with regional and global objectives.
    Lead the sales team to achieve revenue targets, contributing directly to the company’s P&L performance.
    Define clear OGSM (Objectives, Goals, Strategies, Measures) to support strategic business growth.
    Shape value propositions around pricing, services, and product positioning to differentiate offerings in the market.
  2. Customer Engagement & Business Development
    Maintain and strengthen relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
    Drive large-scale contract negotiations and serve as the strategic point of contact for critical accounts.
    Identify new business opportunities and lead efforts to penetrate untapped markets.
    Utilize market and customer insights to inform strategy and product development.
  3. Team Development & Performance Management
    Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing sales team with a strong focus on capability building.
    Foster a results-driven culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
    Conduct performance reviews, set KPIs, and provide regular feedback and coaching.
    Promote internal mobility and career development for top sales talent.
  4. Operational Excellence & Strategic Collaboration
    Enhance operational processes to boost sales productivity and cost efficiency.
    Collaborate across functions—marketing, operations, finance, and product development—to ensure aligned execution.
    Lead strategic projects related to revenue growth, customer segmentation, and commercial excellence.
    Report directly to the General Manager and actively contribute to leadership team initiatives.

Profile

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field; MBA is strongly preferred.
Global company experience is required, ideally within multinational, matrixed environments.
At least 10 years of progressive experience in sales leadership roles.
Strong background in adhesive printing, packaging, labeling, or industrial manufacturing machinery.
Proven track record in managing national teams and closing large-scale contracts.
Willing to work at Cikarang, West Java, Indonesia.
Strong business acumen with demonstrated P&L accountability.
Deep understanding of technical products and market dynamics in packaging and printing.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
Strong leadership with the ability to inspire, coach, and retain top sales talent.
Ability to operate in a complex, matrixed organization and lead cross-functional initiatives.
Fluent in English; strong communication and presentation capabilities.
