Job Description
Key Account Management:
- Oversee major accounts to drive profitable growth through opportunity identification, business development, and price negotiation.
- Forge strong partnerships with key stakeholders and optimize distribution channels to enhance business profitability.
Commercial and People Strategy:
- Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the US market and beyond, including sales forecasting, demand planning, and revenue management.
- Manage the annual budget, ensuring sales and revenue targets are met while aligning the team with strategic goals.
- Lead and mentor the sales and marketing teams, focusing on recruitment, retention, and performance optimization.
Progress Reporting:
- Monitor and report on the implementation of strategies, ensuring market relevance and product promotion to boost sales.
- Implement new initiatives to drive revenue, reduce operating costs, and maintain competitive product quality.
- Prepare and present detailed sales reports, analyze expenditures, and attend board meetings to provide strategic insights.
The Successful Applicant
Experience:
- Over 10 years of experience in sales, marketing, and business development within the manufacturing or trading sector, with at least 5 years in a management role.
- Proven track record of leading and managing successful sales teams, particularly with exposure to the US market.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with senior leadership and drive change.
- Exceptional communication and influencing abilities, with a focus on results orientation and problem-solving.
- Deep expertise in market insights and strategy development, with a proactive approach to innovation and adaptability.
