Job summary

ClientEarth is seeking a Head of Resources, Energy and Mobility for Japan and Southeast Asia. This role leads a multi-disciplinary REM team across London, Brussels, Tokyo, Manila, Jakarta, Sydney, and the US, driving transformational change within FOLU and environmental rights.

It is a 6-month fixed-term contract with remote work options and robust leadership expectations. The successful candidate will possess a law degree focusing on Japanese or Southeast Asian law, proven strategic leadership,

Qualifications

• Must have strategic leadership and management experience.
• Experience designing and managing not-for-profit program work across multiple time zones.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and influence regional strategy.

Responsibilities

• Define Regional System Strategy and lead annual planning for the region.
• Oversee REM delivery in Japan and Southeast Asia, coordinating cross-border advocacy and legal work.
