About Our Client
We are currently representing one of Indonesia's diversified business groups. As part of their strategic expansion, the group is seeking a senior candidate to play a key role in driving the growth and development of their property business unit.
Job Description
- Develop and lead the implementation of business development strategies to support long-term growth and value creation within the property division.
- Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments, aligned with the Group's strategic objectives.
- Conduct market research and feasibility analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in the real estate sector, both locally and regionally.
- Source and assess potential land acquisitions, joint ventures, and development partnerships that align with the company's investment criteria.
- Establish and maintain high-level relationships with external stakeholders including landowners, government bodies, financial institutions, JV partners, and key industry players.
- Lead end-to-end negotiations and oversee the structuring and execution of commercial agreements.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Investment, Legal, Finance, Project Development, and Marketing, to ensure effective execution of business initiatives.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the Board and Executive Management on business development matters.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing business development team.
- Drive a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in property development, investment, or business development, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong understanding of the Indonesian real estate landscape and regulatory environment.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and close large-scale development deals, with sound financial and risk assessment skills.
- Proven track record in leading teams, managing stakeholders, and delivering business results in a complex corporate environment.
