Head of Product Improvement (Cloud Kitchen)

You will be responsible to oversee the whole Research & Development division in the company. This position will report directly to the CEO.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Lead key projects with R&D to support business goals
2. Develop research programs incorporating current developments to improve existing products
3. Understand customer expectations on to be manufactured products
4. Determine and execute improved technologies used by suppliers, competitors, and customers
5. Support company (HRD) to hire and develop R&D personnel
6. Establish project goals and priorities by collaborating with Marketing & Operations
7. Transfer new technologies, products, and manufacturing processes, and equipment
8. Research, design, and evaluate materials, assembles, processes, and equipment
9. Suggest training tools to enhance employee performance and skill development
10. Monitor team metrics and objectives ensuring meeting of goals
11. Document all phases of research and development
12. Establish and maintain testing procedures for assessing raw materials, in process and finished products
13. Oversee complex research projects, analyze results and provide recommendations based on findings
14. Assess the scope of research projects and ensure they are on time and within the budget
15. Be present at industry conferences and exhibitions on research topics of interest

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Food Technology, chemistry, biology or related field
2. Experience in the same position min 6-8 years
3. Proven ability to work in laboratory
4. Knowledge and understanding of data science
5. Ability to use internal and external sources to make technical scientific advances
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
7. Willingness to travel overnight, and to work night and weekend shifts for special projects
