Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced, results-driven, and strategic leader to join our executive team as the Head of Partner Acquisition & Operations. This pivotal role is responsible for driving the rapid expansion of our business partner network across Bali, ensuring the delivery of market-leading pricing and exclusive deals. You'll be a seasoned negotiator and a skilled deal-closer, working closely with our existing Business Development Manager who handles broader team operations, reporting, and structure. You'll also oversee our current Concierge/Affiliate Coordinator to ensure our promotional efforts align with partner acquisition goals. This role requires an intricate understanding of the Bali business landscape and a proven track record in sales, business development, and operational excellence within the tourism, hospitality, or related service industries, and the adaptability to navigate a rapidly evolving technological landscape, including AI integration.
Key Responsibilities:
I. Strategic Partner Acquisition & Business Development
Develop and Execute Partner Acquisition Strategy: Design and implement a comprehensive strategy for identifying, targeting, and onboarding a diverse portfolio of high-value business partners across Bali (e.g., hotels, resorts, villas, restaurants, clubs, tour operators, spas, healthcare providers, laundromats, transportation services, etc.).
Lead Negotiation & Deal Closure: Spearhead complex negotiations with senior stakeholders of potential partner businesses, securing the best possible pricing, exclusive deals, and advantageous terms for our platform. Demonstrate exceptional persuasive abilities to highlight the value proposition of our application and secure competitive agreements.
Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential partners, meticulously tracking progress from initial contact through to signed agreements and activation.
Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence: Conduct continuous market research to identify new business opportunities, analyze competitor strategies, and stay abreast of industry trends in Bali to ensure our offerings remain competitive and attractive.
Relationship Management: Cultivate and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key business owners and decision-makers, fostering trust and loyalty. Act as the primary point of contact for strategic partners.
Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for partner acquisition, including number of new partners, deal conversion rates, average discount secured, and partner retention. Report regularly on progress to the executive team.
II. Operations & Team Leadership
Concierge/Affiliate Program Oversight: Work closely with and provide direct oversight to the existing Concierge/Affiliate Coordinator. Ensure the coordinator effectively manages, trains, and motivates the local concierge/affiliate team (e.g., receptionists, drivers, local community leaders) to promote the application to end-users. You'll ensure the affiliate team's activities and performance adhere to company standards and best practices, aligning their efforts with partner acquisition goals.
Operational Efficiency: Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and technology teams to ensure seamless integration of new partners onto the platform and efficient operational workflows. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance scalability and effectiveness.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of both partners (e.g., pricing compliance, service quality) and promoters (e.g., app downloads, booking conversions), implementing corrective actions as needed.
Collaborative Team Alignment: Work effectively with the existing Business Development Manager to ensure overall team cohesion and high performance. Your focus will be on driving partner acquisition numbers and optimizing the sales funnel, complementing the BDM's responsibilities for broader operations, reporting, and structural oversight.
Problem Resolution: Act as an escalation point for partner and promoter-related issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Budget Management: Manage the budget allocated for partner acquisition and team operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal resource allocation.
Technological Adaptability: Stay informed about emerging technologies, particularly in Artificial Intelligence (AI), and proactively identify opportunities to leverage them to enhance partner acquisition, sales operations, and overall app functionality in preparation for global expansion.
Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years of progressive experience in senior sales, business development, partnership management, or operations roles, preferably within the tourism, hospitality, e-commerce, or technology sectors in Indonesia, with a strong focus on Bali.
Demonstrated success in closing complex deals and securing highly favorable terms with B2B partners. A portfolio of successful partnerships and negotiations would be a plus.
Exceptional negotiation and persuasion skills with a proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Proficient and comfortable with public speaking, capable of delivering compelling presentations to various audiences.
Deep understanding of the Bali business landscape, including established networks within the hospitality, entertainment, and service industries. Existing relationships with key business owners in Bali would be a plus.
Strong leadership capabilities with experience in building, mentoring, and motivating high-performing sales or business development teams.
Highly adaptable and technologically savvy, with a keen interest in emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and a demonstrated ability to incorporate technological advancements into business strategy. Experience working with AI-driven tools or understanding their potential would be a plus.
Fluent in both English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and spoken) is essential. Proficiency in other regional languages is a plus.

Experience working with digital platforms, marketplace models, or app-based services.
