Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel and support across all areas of the business, particularly in manufacturing operations and energy sector compliance.
  • Oversee legal aspects of plant construction and establishment, ensuring regulatory compliance and contractual soundness throughout the development phase.
  • Oversee corporate secretarial duties, including AGMS, Board of Directors and Commissioners meetings, and statutory filings.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to manufacturing, energy, and environmental standards.
  • Manage and review commercial contracts and agreements, ensuring alignment with the company's interests.
  • Provide guidance and resolution on industrial relations, labor law, and other employment-related matters.
  • Lead and manage any joint venture structuring, agreements, and negotiations (experience in this area is a plus).
  • Serve as a key legal advisor to executive management and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Represent the company in dealings with external legal counsel, regulatory authorities, and key stakeholders.
  • Operate effectively in a lean team environment, taking ownership of both strategic and operational legal tasks.

The Successful Applicant

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 years of legal experience, with a proven track record in corporate, commercial, and compliance matters.
  • Must be an Indonesia BAR-admitted lawyer (PERADI).
  • Experience in the manufacturing and/or energy sector is highly preferred.
  • Exposure to or experience in joint ventures is advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of employment law and industrial relations in Indonesia.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English (both verbal and written) is essential.
  • Comfortable working in a lean legal team and handling a broad scope of responsibilities.
