Job Description
- Drive the overall learning and development effort to develop talent capability by gaining deep understanding and aligning with business needs by working closely with all stakeholders such as boards, managers, and employees to assess.
- Lead the learning framework content management for all of the core learning and development programs, such as onboarding & compliance, upskilling, leadership development, community of practice activities, and other key organizational programs both on technical and soft skills.
- Review and evaluate the current and new learning and development practices as well as the effectiveness of the learning frameworks in meeting the needs of businesses and learners. Regularly send out status reports and suggest recommendations.
- Provide subject matter expertise in the learning and development domain, including formulating mid to long-term plans involving strategic development for employees' competency and contribution to business growth.
- When required, design curriculum, provide training and mentorship, and/or facilitate training of trainer programs.
- Manage end-to-end learning journey for multiple business units with high complexity according to each vertical's needs, including mid to long-term vision for the mission.
- Keep updated, research, and design new learning and development modules based on competency models and learnings for various functions and teams, including analyzing new trends, tools, and industry best practices for learning and development relevant to business goals. Also, further aggregate learning content into an easily accessible format on the current platform.
- Liaise with external parties and/or stakeholders/partners/vendors for any development program conversations as required.
Requirement
- Learning and development professionals with a background in human resources or relevant field with a minimum of 12 years of total working experience, and at least 8 years of solid experience in learning or in a leadership position with a history of strong project management skills, well-versed in data-informed learning and development field.
- Proven track record in driving and managing end-to-end learning and/or learning academy.
- Experience in designing and implementing curriculum/module/syllabus programs in a company-wide setting across all departments and levels through to monitoring, and assessing the effectiveness.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills to form consensus across a broad, fast-moving organization through excellent communication and interpersonal skills with critical stakeholders and boards.
- Experience in both corporation and fast-paced start-up within technology and consumer-driven industry, such as able to find the balance between the two.
- Strong project management with a keen eye for details and highly organized by nature yet practical and agile.
- Strong leadership and managerial traits to lead the overall learning academy including the skillsets of the team members.
