Job Description
- Plan, design, and install new network solutions in collaboration with consultants and suppliers, ensuring they meet requirements, budgets, and deadlines.
- Ensure the secure, reliable, and high-availability operation of both on-premises and cloud-based IT Data Centers and services.
- Maintain control over IT asset inventory and software licenses, ensuring records are accurate and up-to-date, and conduct regular audits.
- Establish a Disaster Recovery (DR) site or backup solution to ensure continuous system and data replication from the primary Data Center, through offline backup/restore or online replication.
- Lead the development of network infrastructure, including procurement, future-proofing, and options analysis.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT Infrastructure and Operations, including at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Strong technical knowledge across networking, servers, storage, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and IT operations management.
- Relevant IT certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CompTIA Network+, ITIL v4 Foundation/Intermediate, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), AWS/Azure Certified Solutions Architect.
- Proven experience leading IT teams in regulated industries, preferably in financial services or insurance.
- Strong project management skills and experience with large-scale IT deployment and transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance relevant to insurance (e.g., data privacy, risk management, IT governance).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on capabilities and customer service orientation.
