Job Description
- Oversees the entire IT project lifecycle-from planning through post-implementation support-ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to scope.
- Manages the deployment of technology solutions for financial services clients, such as core systems, API integrations, cloud platforms, cybersecurity solutions, and other critical systems.
- Coordinates cross-functional teams, including technical staff, consultants, and key stakeholders, to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Leads multidisciplinary teams consisting of technical consultants, developers, solution architects, and project managers to meet project objectives.
Allocates resources, manages schedules, and coordinates cross-functional collaboration to drive successful project outcomes.
Identifies and mitigates risks across technical, operational, and compliance areas, including data security concerns.
Ensures all projects are compliant with financial industry regulations.
Collaborates with sales teams and related departments to understand client needs and support contract negotiations.
Works closely with product teams to ensure that delivered solutions are aligned with operational requirements.
Provides strategic input for new product development based on field experience and client feedback
Identifies opportunities to adopt emerging technologies-including cloud computing, robotic process automation (RPA), and artificial intelligence (AI)-to enhance delivery processes
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field; a Master's degree (e.g., MBA or Master in Technology) is a plus.
Experience in leadership/senior management roles overseeing IT projects in the financial sector.
Proven track record of leading large-scale IT projects, such as core banking system implementations, digital banking platforms, or cybersecurity initiatives.- In-depth understanding of both technological and business needs in the banking and financial services industry.
Operational leadership with the ability to manage complex projects and large teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical and operational challenges.
Deep understanding of technologies adopted in FSI, including cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), cybersecurity, blockchain, and systems integration.
Strong knowledge of banking and financial regulations (e.g., OJK, Bank Indonesia, Basel III, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS) and compliance with AML and KYC requirements.
Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills for engaging with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
