The Opportunity

As Head of Integrated Communications for Indonesia, you'll own and drive communications strategy across one of the most dynamic and diverse regions in the world.

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment. You'll be a key player in shaping how we're perceived, from product launches and market expansions to crisis response and thought leadership.

What You'll Do

1. Build & Execute Regional Comms Strategy: Develop hyper-localized communication plans that align with our mission while navigating cultural, regulatory, and media nuances across APAC.
2. Drive Earned & Owned Media: Secure high-impact press coverage, manage media relationships, and collaborate with content teams to amplify our voice across blogs, social, and digital channels.
3. Lead Crisis & Reputation Management: Be the go-to for handling sensitive issues ensuring swift, transparent, and strategic responses.
4. Engage Key Stakeholders: Build relationships with media, regulators, industry leaders, and internal teams to strengthen our presence in the region.
5. Amplify Brand & Thought Leadership: Craft compelling narratives around our tech, vision, and market expansions positioning us as a leader in the space.
6. Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with marketing, product, legal, and local teams to ensure cohesive messaging and execution.
7. Measure & Optimize: Define KPIs, track performance, and refine strategies based on data and insights.
8. Lead & Scale the Team: Manage and grow a high-performing communications team (and agency partners) to support our ambitious goals.

Who You Are

1. 15+ years in communications, with deep region expertise preferably in startups, tech, fintech, or Web3.
2. A strategic storyteller who can translate complex ideas into compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
3. Media-savvy operator with a strong network of journalists and influencers across the region.
4. Crisis-tested leader who stays calm under pressure and navigates high-stakes situations with clarity.
5. Cross-cultural communicator fluent in English, with additional APAC language skills as a plus.
6. Regulatory-aware, with experience in fintech, crypto, or privacy-focused industries (a big bonus).
7. A builder at heart you thrive in fast-moving environments and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves.
8. Based in Indonesia, with a pulse on local trends, politics, and business landscapes.
