Job summary

AYANA Hospitality Group in Bali seeks a proactive Head of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) to lead the resort’s HSE strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, and advance sustainability initiatives across the property.

You will oversee daily waste management, risk assessments, incident investigations, audits, trainings, and certification processes, collaborating with department heads to foster a strong safety culture on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in OHS, Environmental Eng, Engineering, Public Health, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years in HSE with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Experience in waste management, environmental operations or sustainability programs.
• Familiarity with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, HACCP, and local HSE regulations.
• NEBOSH, IOSH certifications are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all HSE operations across the property.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, policies and standards.
• Develop and implement HSE policies, SOPs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Oversee emergency response, fire life safety, and business continuity programs.
• Monitor environmental performance, sustainability initiatives, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead HSE audits, inspections, and certification processes.
• Collaborate with department heads to promote a strong safety culture.
