The Position

Head of Finance, PT Roche Indonesia (Diagnostics)

Role Purpose:

As Head of Finance, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the Finance function and team for enable PT Roche Indonesia (Diagnostics) to be commercially successful in the Indonesia In-Vitro Diagnostic market. This includes, but not limited to, providing leadership and direction to accounting and financial planning and analysis management; developing the vision, strategy, strategic goals and other key performance metrics for affiliate finance and ensures the development and execution of accurate and timely financial reporting, forecasting, strategic planning and analysis in order to achieve affiliate business, financial and operational goals.

Your opportunity:

  • Accountable for the financial welfare of the organization by providing financial projections and accounting services; preparing growth plans; and directing staff.
  • Supervise the finance unit and directly assists the organization on all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis, and forecasting.
  • Lead other units responsible to support the organisation in SHE.
  • Be responsible for ensuring that the company meets its statutory obligations jointly with President Director and Director.
  • Ensure integrity and reliability of financial statements of the company, including the Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Business Statement and Cash Flow Statement, among others.
  • Meet all financial reporting requirements internally within the company (group reporting, functional/regional reporting) and externally including statutory and fiscal reporting requirements.
  • Assume direct responsibility for implementing and maintaining internal controls over key business processes and financial reporting.
  • Manage the credit management function, processes and exposures.
  • Optimize and manage the company’s tax and treasury situation together with Group Finance
  • Maintain the company’s readiness for tax audit and compliance reviews by local authorities by ensuring compliance with all local requirements (e.g. transfer price documentation and comparable study)

Who you are:

  • University degree majoring in Finance is required. A postgraduate degree (e.g. MBA) in a relevant area would be desirable.
  • 10+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting with proven track record of strong performance
  • Proven knowledge and expertise in area of focus.
  • Experienced in leading a Finance team within the healthcare industry required.
  • Proven ability to establish and articulate a vision, set goals, develop and execute strategies, and track and measure results.
  • Proven ability to identify and mobilize resources, in a timely manner, that partner with others to achieve stated goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively identify, develop and execute strategies to build competences to be future-ready and best-in-class.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence internal and external stakeholders with courageous authenticity and builds trust with individuals of all levels.
  • Familiarity with the technological trends and their relevance to the healthcare industry. A passionate and decisive business leader. Demonstrating courage, vision and drive to achieve results at the forefront of innovative technological changes.
