About the company

Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client, a profitable startup in fashion retail. Leading the industry and established since 2015.

Job Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage the finance, accounting, and tax teams, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.
2. Drive fundraising efforts and manage investor relations, ensuring the brand is well-positioned to secure the capital required for growth.
3. Develop and implement financial strategies to support the rapid scale-up of our retail operations.
4. Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and analysis, ensuring accurate forecasting and financial health.
5. Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
6. Foster a collaborative and high-performing culture within the finance and accounting teams.
7. Act as a key advisor to the executive team on financial matters.

Job Requirements

1. Extensive experience in finance within the retail sector (minimum 10 years), ideally within scale-up businesses.
2. At least 2-3 years experience in the cycle of production & retail inventory, including involvement with third-party vendors' production.
3. Experience in investor relations handling and leading VC Series Funding Investments.
4. Experience in inventory financing/inventory loans is preferred.
5. Background in apparel retail would be advantageous.
6. Proven experience in fundraising and managing investor relations, particularly in high-growth environments.
7. Strong social skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and stakeholders.
8. Deep knowledge of accounting principles, tax compliance, and financial regulations, especially within the Indonesian market.
9. High agility and resilience, with a deep understanding of the dynamics of the retail industry and scale-up companies.
10. Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and nurture high-performance teams.
