Job description

Our client is one of the leading private hospital groups in Indonesia, currently expanding and strengthening their leadership team. We are supporting them in the search for a Head of Ancillary Services, a pivotal role responsible for managing the full spectrum of non-clinical yet essential medical support services.

About the Role:

The Head of Ancillary Services will oversee the performance, efficiency, and compliance of all ancillary departments—including radiology, laboratory, pharmacy, physiotherapy, nutrition, biomedical engineering, CSSD, and medical records. This role is key in ensuring operational excellence, supporting clinical teams, and delivering a seamless patient experience.

You will work closely with hospital leadership and cross-functional teams to drive continuous

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all ancillary departments to ensure timely, accurate, and quality support services.

Coordinate with clinical departments to align ancillary operations with patient care goals.

Oversee budget planning, resource utilization, and vendor/technology management in ancillary units.

Ensure compliance with hospital accreditation standards (e.g., KARS, JCI).

Drive service improvement initiatives, including process streamlining, digital integration, and staff development.

Monitor KPIs such as turnaround times, patient satisfaction, cost efficiency, and quality indicators.

Act as a key liaison across departments to support hospital-wide strategies.

Key Requirements:

Medical Doctor (MD) or other healthcare professional background preferred.

Minimum 10+ years of experience in hospital management, with solid exposure to Ancillary Services.

Proven leadership capabilities, managing multi-disciplinary teams or support units.

Strong initiative-taker and solution-oriented mindset.

Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Familiarity with hospital systems (HIS/LIS/PACS) and healthcare regulations in Indonesia.
