About the role

At PT Young Indonesia Pratama, we are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chief Designer to lead our design team and drive the creative vision for our projects. As Head Chief Designer, you will oversee all aspects of the design process, from concept development to final implementation. This is a full-time position based in Tangerang, Banten and plays a pivotal role in shaping our company's future.

What you'll be doing

1. Develop and lead the creative direction for all interior design projects.
2. Manage and mentor a team of talented designers, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to project timelines.
3. Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and translate them into innovative, functional, and visually appealing designs.
4. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the interior design industry, and incorporate them into your work.
5. Oversee procurement of materials and furnishings, ensuring alignment with the project's budget and design aesthetic.
6. Participate in presenting design proposals and maintain clear communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
7. Ensure all projects meet safety, building, and regulatory requirements.

What we're looking for

1. A degree in interior design or a related field.
2. Minimum 8 years of experience in a senior interior design role, preferably within the commercial or residential sectors.
3. Proven track record of leading and managing design teams, with excellent mentorship and people management skills.
4. Strong conceptual and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate client requirements into innovative and practical design solutions.
5. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
6. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively present design proposals to clients.
7. Thorough understanding of building regulations, safety standards, and sustainability principles.
