Job description

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Sous Chef who specializes in a broad range of cuisine to support our culinary operations and help create nutritious, high-quality dining experiences for athletes and guests.

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Support the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations
• 2. Can develop and execute vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and high-protein menu options
• 3. Ensure high standards in food preparation, portioning, plating, and presentation
• 4. Supervise and guide line cooks and kitchen staff
• 5. Maintain kitchen workflow efficiency, especially during peak service hours
• 6. Monitor inventory, food costing, and stock control
• 7. Ensure compliance with HACCP standards and food safety regulations
• 8. Assist in menu planning for special events and catering functions
• 9. Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen team members

Requirements

• 1. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in professional kitchens
• 2. At least 2 years experience in a supervisory role (Sous Chef / Senior CDP)
• 3. Experience in health-focused restaurants, wellness resorts, sports facilities, or plant-based concepts is highly preferred
• 4. Strong knowledge of international cuisine and healthy menu preparation (low-fat, high-protein, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free)
• 5. Solid understanding of kitchen operations, inventory control, and cost management
• 6. Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
• 7. Strong leadership and team management skills
• 8. Creative in menu development and passionate about healthy dining concepts
• 9. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• 10. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• 11. Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
