Job summary

Wheels Coffee Roasters in Bandung is seeking a driven kitchen leader to oversee food preparation, approve plated dishes, and work with chefs of all levels to maintain high standards. The role includes menu development, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with sanitary and safety guidelines.

The successful candidate will ensure variety and quality across dishes, lead health and safety initiatives, and collaborate closely with kitchen staff to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Controlling and directing the food preparation process
• Approving and polishing dishes before they reach the customer
• Managing and working closely with other Chefs of all levels
• Creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes ensuring variety and quality
• Determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering
• Ultimately responsible for ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines
• Being responsible for health and safety
