Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior High School Mathematics Teacher (Guru Matematika SMA) based in Bekasi. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with national and international curricula, ensuring students develop strong conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills. Daily responsibilities include preparing teaching materials, conducting classroom instruction, assigning and reviewing exercises, and providing individual support to students who need additional guidance. The role also includes assessing student progress, maintaining accurate records, communicating with parents or guardians as needed, and collaborating with other educators to continuously improve teaching methods and learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong Mathematics knowledge and ability to teach senior high school topics such as algebra, calculus, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Experience in classroom teaching or tutoring, ideally with national and/or international curricula (IB, A Level, O Level, Cambridge).
• Ability to design clear lesson plans, learning materials, and assessment tools that support step-by-step concept mastery.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple, structured ways.
• Patience, empathy, and a learner-centered mindset to support students at different levels of understanding.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive, disciplined, and inclusive learning environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a closely related field; teaching certification is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on-site in Bekasi and adapt to the teaching approaches and standards of PT. Sinotif Internasional.
