About the role:

The Guest Service Officer welcomes guests to the property , providing an exceptional guest experience at check-in, during the guest’s stay and on departure. This role works to achieve the highest level of guest satisfaction during their arrival and departure, plus r esponding to a wide variety of guest requests , assessing guest needs , adding personal recommendations , and align ing with Four Seasons service standards . This role is part of the Front Office Department , reporting into the Front Office Manager.

What you will do:

  • Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible.

  • Assists guests in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, et c.

  • Responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner. Interaction s with guest will be in person and by phone;

  • Resolves guest complaints , and find opportunities to recognize and personalize the service.

  • Utilizes a variety of computer systems to check guests in and out, run daily reports and select and block rooms for arriving guests. It includes Golden, Opera, FS Chat and phone system.

What you bring :

  • One + years e xperience working within a luxury hotel or similar environment is considered an asset.

  • Proficient in Japanese, both spoken and written.

  • Positive attitude, creativity, resourcefulness, detail-orientation, service-oriented mindset.

  • Excellent communication and organization skills; reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.

  • Guest centricity and understanding the importance of guest’s preferences.

  • Strong computer skills, including a knowledge of Opera.

  • Bachelor's degree or Minimum of Diploma.
