Job summary

Zumana in Bali is seeking a friendly, reliable cashier to welcome guests at the point of payment, process transactions accurately, and help deliver a smooth and positive customer experience in a busy hospitality venue. You will work closely with the front‑of‑house team, keep the cashier area organised, balance cash and receipts, and support a collaborative service environment.

You will use the POS system, handle cash and card payments, and follow procedures for refunds and adjustments, including

Qualifications

Experience in cashiering, retail, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
Friendly, reliable and able to handle payments in a busy setting.
Willingness to learn and adapt to POS and cash-handling procedures.

Responsibilities

Welcoming guests and responding to payment-related questions in a friendly manner.
Processing cash, card, and other payments accurately.
Using the point-of-sale system to process transactions and issue receipts.
Checking bills and payment details before completing transactions.
Handling cash carefully and following procedures for cash floats and handovers.
Balancing transactions and reporting discrepancies to the appropriate team member.
Coordinating with front-of-house colleagues to resolve billing or payment queries.
Keeping the cashier area clean, organised, and ready for service.
Following workplace procedures for refunds, discounts, and payment adjustments.
Protecting guest and transaction information and following relevant security procedures.
