Now we are looking for a dynamic, outgoing and enthusiastic Guest Activity & Recreation Assistant Event Manager with a strong background and experience in running Guest activity and recreation to join our energetic, enthusiastic and passionate team at Grand Hyatt Bali.

The Guest Activity & Recreation Assistant Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Recreation department in all aspects of the Fitness Center, Recreation facilities, pool and beach areas.

Responsibilities:

  • To ensure, through effective supervision, that all services offered in the Spa and Recreation facilities are always available and carried out with the utmost efficiency and courtesy as per the Departmental Operations Manual.
  • To maintain a high profile within the Bay Club and all Spa & Recreation facilities by becoming involved with the activities, becoming a role model of spa, fitness, and health.
  • To maintain good relations with all Club members and hotel guests.
  • To develop a schedule of activities for the resort in collaboration with the Director of Spa and Recreation and Activities Coordinator, and participate as required in the activities.
  • To continually educate and update oneself on the various components of the Club Operation, Maintenance, and Growth, and to recommend to Management any new innovations and/or changes.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of solid experience as Assistant Recreation Manager in a large 5-star luxury hotel or resort.
  • Diploma in Health Education, Hospitality, or other relevant fields. A Bachelor’s Degree is a plus.
  • Solid background of working in a high-demand business environment.
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to train and develop a team, and act as a role model.
  • Fluent in English communication, both written and spoken.
